Introduction to Mitsubishi Series
SME is a joint venture company jointly established by Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. and Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. The company mainly produces various types of S6R2/S12R/S16R series engines licensed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which are mainly used for land-based generator sets, with power ranging from 500KW to 2000KW. The SR series products are currently the main products of non-road industrial medium and large engines produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In addition to the local factories in Japan, the same series of products are also produced in the French factories. Mainly used in land power stations, marine main engines and auxiliary engines. The products sell well in European and American markets and are highly recognized by users in China. On the platform of this series of diesel engines, there are land-based power stations that comply with US EPA2 emissions and marine supporting diesel engines that comply with IMO2 emissions. The company is located at No. 2630 Jungong Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai (Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd.). It started production in 2013 and produces 5000 sets of SR diesel engines each year.
